The Return

Dear readers,

Almost two years ago, The Throwdown came to a halt, due to various factors.  It was a choice I personally made that ended the blog I had dreamed of writing.  You see, in just a few months back in 2009, The Throwdown had compiled THOUSANDS of readers at a rate that I myself had never expected, and quite frankly, wasn’t prepared for.  I want to personally thank everyone that read, contributed, and enjoyed (or hated) The Throwdown.  I really had expected just a small group of blog readers to discover the little operation here and that would be that.   I guess when you start getting death threats, the viewer traffic bar rocketing upwards and even a familiar person(yeah, shocked the Hell outta me, too)sneaking in a snide Tweet about this blog, all I can say is, I was caught off guard.

Fret not, though.  It’s been two years, and things are different.  I’ve been coaxed out of retirement by a very good friend, and have started assembling a blogging team that is second to none.  We’ll be taking on a technical producer this time around, just to make sure all you fine folks get the most out of The Throwdown.

After all, you can get all the sugar-coated, watered down topical regurgitation from the other blogs.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, while the other bloggers are busy throwing up, WE are gonna be throwing down.  It’s what we do, and you’ve been warned.
